Mark Leonard, MCIOB – Managing Director
Mark has a BSc in Fire Safety Technology and an MSc in Management for Construction. He joined KeyTask in July 2018 from Mace Group, where he was an Associate Director and Hotel Sector Lead. He joined Mace in 2011, having previously worked at Cyril Sweett and Turner & Townsend.
Mark has a wealth of experience delivering major project and programme management commissions in the UK and internationally.
Ian Oram, FRICS – Founder & Director
Ian has degrees in Quantity Surveying and Project Management. He was a senior Director of a multi-disciplinary consultancy in South Africa and moved to the UK in 1990. He was a Director of Malmaison and MyHotels and a Vice-President at Rezidor Hotels, before setting up KeyTask in 2002.
As well as completing many UK hotel projects, Ian is highly respected for the development of top-level restaurants in London. He also has extensive international experience. He managed resort developments in Morocco, South Africa, Kenya, Switzerland and the Caribbean, and golf course development in Turkey, Belgium and Spain.
Chad Murrin – Director
Chad graduated in law at Cambridge University and then qualified as a barrister. He worked for the private equity and venture capital group 3i from 1986-2004. Since then he has worked as a Non-executive Director and consultant. He is a Non-executive Director of E.W. Beard Holdings Limited (£140 million turnover building contractor) and Procom (a construction consultant and quantity surveyor). He has also overseen six hotel development projects in the UK on behalf of investors.
Colin Bromham – Associate Director
Colin graduated with a BSc in Land Management from the University of Portsmouth. He initially joined KeyTask in 2003 and worked his way up to a senior level on a wide variety of projects, including Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco, The Roof Gardens, Bermondsey Square Hotel, One Canada Square, Bob Bob Ricard, Travelodge Finsbury Park and Andaz Liverpool Street.
Colin rejoined KeyTask in February 2018 after working for another practice on high-end hotel projects for a year.
Matthew Glitz – Senior Project Manager
Matt graduated with a BSc in Property Studies at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. He worked on projects in Johannesburg, converting and refurbishing derelict industrial buildings into residential, office and retail spaces. He joined KeyTask in 2015, since when he has gained experience of high end restaurant and hotel refurbishments in London, including the One Aldwych and Bermondsey Square hotels and the Jamavar, Bombay Bustle and Eneko restaurants.
Richard Heptonstall, MRICS – Senior Quantity Surveyor
Richard graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying Consultancy from Kingston University in 2011, having obtained a HND in Quantity Surveying from Southampton Solent University in 2008. He joined KeyTask in January 2020, having previously worked on a variety of projects for both main contracting and client facing cost consultancy firms.
Michael Farrell – Assistant Project Manager
Michael graduated with a BA (Hons) in Construction Management and Economics from Curtin University in Perth, Australia in 2014. He then worked in Australia for 4 years as a Project Manager for a contractor installing windows, doors and security screens. He spent time in New Zealand before moving to the UK in 2018. He joined KeyTask in February 2019 and is based in the Guildford office.
Quikobad Khaza, BSc – Graduate Quantity Surveyor
Quikobad has a BSc in Quantity Surveying from Anglia Ruskin University. He joined KeyTask in October 2018, having previously worked at the Navigation Management cost consultancy. Before that, he trained as an optician.
